Dental Implants now available locally in Harefield - Free Implant Consultation

Where a tooth, or a number of teeth, need to be replaced, dental implants offer the best solution currently available. Whilst dentures can fulfill this role to some extent, they lack the strength and stability that dental implants offer.
Once placed, a dental implant can be expected to last for over twenty years, and very often many more, given reasonable care.
At our Harefield dental practice we are able to offer dental implants that are of a high standard and at an affordable price.
Our treatments are carried out by an experienced implant dentist, Mr Nizar Hammodeh, who has placed many implants successfully and who has a Masters Degree (MSc) in implantology.
We are currently offering a FREE consultation for people considering dental implants - please call us on 01895 822262 or use the website contact form for more details.
The advantages of dental implants
Whilst modern dentures have improved considerably and dental bridges can still be used to fill gaps left by missing teeth, dental implants are now considered to offer a better alternative. This is because the titanium rod which is used to support a new dental crown, actually forms a stable and strong replacement for the root of the natural tooth in the jawbone.
A fascinating process, called osseointegration, takes places whereby the titanium implant bonds to the jawbone very firmly and provides an ideal foundation for supporting a dental crown, matched very carefully to your remaining natural teeth.
The end result is a natural looking and effective tooth replacement which can be used just as you would with your natural teeth. Sticky or hard foods which present problems for dentures and bridges are no problem with dental implants which will allow you to smile and eat with confidence once more.
